q+A Session

Q: Which project are you most proud of?

A: I am most proud of the commissioned three-dimensional art installation I did for the Merrill-Cazier Library on campus. I feel it reflects my style as an interior designer. I always want to create intriguing moments and create colorful, clean designs.

Q: Who is one of your favorite designers & why?

A: Marcel Wanders is one of my favorite designers. I enjoy his use of color and how he plays with scale and proportion in his designs. He is not afraid to push the envelope.

Q: Aside from necessities, what one thing could you not go a day without?

A: A hair tie. I have to have my hair back to be able to concentrate when working. For some reason, it helps me focus.

Q: If you could live anywhere, where would it be?
A: New York. I fell in love with it during my internship and never wanted to leave.

Q: What are you loving in life right now?

A: I am loving being able to go fishing in my free time. It is a nice way of distancing, and a great way to get away and have fun.
