The Ski Resort is nestled in northern Colorado, and is LEED Silver certified, with credits in each LEED and WELL categories. The project implements standards from the LEED certification checklist based off categories of location and transportation, water efficiency, sustainable sites, energy and atmosphere, indoor air quality, and materials and resources. The design also implements WELL standards that measure the impact of the built environment on human health and wellbeing based off categories of air, water, nourishment, light, fitness, comfort, and mind. Natural elements are used in the design, such as stone, wood, faux fur, faux leather, bamboo viscose, and wool. Artwork, décor, and fixtures are inspired by the surrounding mountain terrain, with artwork of snowy mountaintops, antler chandeliers, and faux deer head taxidermy mounts. The ski resort is warm and inviting, with many sitting areas surrounded by fireplaces, encouraging social interaction and retreat.
