Opioid Clinic Furniture Plan
This clinic is an outpatient drug rehabilitation center, that will help people with opioid addictions on their journey to sobriety. This business will house two providers, three drug and alcohol counselors and two licenced clinical social workers. The clinic will provide daily medication dosing, group and individual therapy, as well as conduct urine tests for their patients. The layout of the space is designed to give employees privacy and security while keeping patients visible to ensure safety and order. All rooms where a patient and employee will be alone are equipped with an emergency call button to inform others if a patient becomes unruly. Doors that lead into offices and into the employee only areas will all be keycard entry as a security precaution. The waiting areas are at the front of the building allowing staff to have constant views of the patients as they wait. An area is also provided for children to be entertained by toys and a television. The restrooms for urine testing have windows that allow samples to be passed through to the nurses station to be processed.
